Student Life

At the Leighton School, you have many opportunities to explore careers, network, develop friendships and get involved. You can:

  • Volunteer or join a student organization
  • Participate in intramural sports
  • Network with peers, faculty and area business leaders at the annual Entrepreneur Lecture Series and NIBCO IT Management Seminar Series
  • Make time to join a club and attend events. The more you participate, the more you gain.

The Leighton School has three honorary societies and a variety of student organizations where students can pursue their interests in various fields of business.

Study Abroad

The Judd Leighton School of Business and Economics in cooperation with the IU South Bend Office of International Studies offers a unique opportunity for students to study abroad for three weeks in Athens, Greece, completing a 3-credit hour course, Business and Society (BUS B-399) and traveling in and around Athens, Greece. The program is open to all IU South Bend students who meet the program’s requirements.
