Bhavik K. Pathak is director of the Judd Leighton School of Business and Economics and associate dean of the College of Professional Studies at Indiana University South Bend. His primary research interest is on the impact of Internet technologies on business. Dr. Pathak has investigated how ICT-led technologies and business models, such as recommender systems, virtual communities, comparison shopping agents, and MOOCs/HyFlex education, impact retailing, electronic markets, and online education. He has been published in premier academic journals, including Journal of Management Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, Journal of Retailing, Electronic Markets, and Communications of the AIS. Dr. Pathak serves as Associate Editor of Decision Support Systems. He earned a PhD in operations and information management from the University of Connecticut. His teaching interests include:
