Deanna Shively is a senior lecturer in management and experiential learning and director of CTS Center for Experiential Education at the Judd Leighton School of Business and Economics. Professor Shively is a certified public accountant; her professional experience includes accounting positions at Toro Wheel Horse, South Bend and Uniroyal Plastics in Mishawaka, as well as a management trainee at Whirlpool. Prior to joining the Leighton faculty, she served as a college instructor at IU South Bend, St. Mary’s College, Ivy Tech Community College, and Purdue University Calumet.
In 1984, she launched her own tax preparation business, Shive’s Tax Service. She continues to serve clients in the local area.
In addition, Professor Shively is very active in the Starke County 4-H and was recognized as Outstanding 4-H Leader of the Year in 2011.
