Dr. Hong Zhuang is a professor of economics and director of the Bureau of Business and Economic Research at the Judd Leighton School of Business and Economics. Prior to her appointment to the Leighton School faculty, Dr. Zhuang taught at the University of Oregon. Her research interests include international economics, development economics, and applied econometrics, focusing on foreign direct investment and economic development and growth. Dr. Zhuang’s work has been published in many peer-reviewed journals, such as Applied Economics Letters, Annals of Economics and Finance, Bulletin of Economic Research, Eastern European Economics, Economics and Business Letters, International Economic Journal, Journal of Globalization and Development, Journal of the Asia Pacific Economy, etc.
