Jessica Ewald is the Administrative Generalist Coordinator for the Judd Leighton School of Business and Economics. In this capacity she manages complex office activities and designs process improvements to create maximum efficiency. Prior to working at the Leighton School, she worked as an administrative assistant for the Navy in Virginia designing data analysis programs for the manufacturing of air craft carriers and submarines.
Jessica is a Senior who will graduate in May 2026 with her degree in General Studies with a concentration in Arts and Humanities. She is a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is studying to obtain certifications as a Nutrition Coach, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Weight Management Specialist. After losing 165 lbs., Jessica ran many competitive races, including the New York City Half Marathon and would like to use her experience, knowledge, and degree to encourage others to be proactive about healthy living. She is a Disaster Action Team member for the American Red Cross, trained as a Community Emergency Response Team member, and aspires to join the Peace Corps.
Her interest and passions include promoting a healthy lifestyle, increasing mobility in the morbidly obese and elderly, enhancing nutrition knowledge in developing nations, and running half marathons.
