Dr. Mendez teaches Organizational Behavior at the undergraduate level and Leadership at the graduate level. Her dissertation explored multiple forms of collective leadership in teams. Dr. Mendez is a member of the Academy of Management Association and the Southwest Management Association. Her work has been published in the Journal of World Business, and the Organization Management Journal. Her professional interests include primarily team leadership research, cross-cultural leadership, and followership.
