Sharon Busenbark is a lecturer in accounting at the Judd Leighton School of Business and Economics at IU South Bend. Professor Busenbark’s public and professional experience includes audit work for the State of Indiana’s State Board of Accounts and Department of Revenue, tax work at the University of Notre Dame and 1st Source Bank, and financial accounting at Teachers Credit Union. Additionally, Professor Busenbark had an accounting practice serving small businesses in the Michiana area.
Prior to joining the Leighton faculty full-time, she served as associate faculty at IU South Bend and Indiana Technical Institute of Technology.
Professor Busenbark is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Indiana and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). She is a member of the American Institute of Public Accountants (AICPA), Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), and Beta Gamma Sigma.
