Dr. Vicar S. Valencia is an Associate Professor of Economics and Director of the Center for Economic Education at the Judd Leighton School of Business and Economics. His research has been published in journals such as the Atlantic Economic Journal, Review of Economics and Statistics, and Australian Journal of Management. He is on the Editorial Review Board of Small Business Economics, as well as a member of the International Atlantic Economic Society and American Economic Association. He is also Economics Section Editor of Sage Open Journals.

His teaching interests include:

• Introductory micro/macroeconomics
• Intermediate micro/macroeconomics

• Applied microeconomics
• Empirical industrial organization
