Yi Spindler is a Lecturer in Finance at Indiana University South Bend. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and MBA in Finance from IUSB, complemented by post-baccalaureate coursework in accounting. Prior to joining academia, Yi spent several years in corporate and public accounting, wealth management, and fiduciary tax, holding positions at PwC US Tax LLP, 1st Source Bank, and Crowe LLP. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP).
Her primary teaching focus centers on corporate finance courses, where she integrates her practical industry experience into classroom learning. Yi’s academic interests lie in investment and personal finance management, with a commitment to helping students understand both corporate financial decision-making and practical investment concepts.
