Two Leighton Teams are Semifinalists in ECHO Challenge
Two Judd Leighton School of Business and Economics teams were among the top 30 semifinalists out of 225 worldwide entries in the 2015-2016 Marketing Edge Collegiate ECHO Challenge by Facebook. Team CL & Associates, composed of Lauren Brown, Carol Tincher, Lisa Guzowski and Chris Fruehwirth; and, team Pronghorn Project, composed of Vance Booza, Janice Seaman, Michael Oakes, Andrew Hack and Madeline Smous were charged with designing an integrated marketing campaign for Facebook to boost awareness of one of its core direct response products, Custom Audiences, among business-to-consumer decision makers.
With a focus on providing real-world experiences for undergraduate and graduate students, Leighton School faculty seek opportunities like the ECHO Challenge for students to sharpen skills learned in the classroom.
“I am very proud of both of these teams and what they accomplished and honored to have been able to work with so many talented and focused students,” said Professor Jodi Rowell. “These students exemplified professionalism, an intense work ethic and a desire to excel throughout the course.”
